For sale is a very nice, clean Winchester Model 100 semi-auto rifle in .308 caliber. The serial number on this piece is 90427, making it a 1964 year of manufacture according to my research. The barrel is 22' long with iron sights. The bore is bright and shiny with excellent rifling. Mounted on the receiver is the infamous Weaver pivoting scope mount and rings -- some guys love 'em, others hate 'em. The stock on this rifle has been shortened in what I consider to be a less-than-professional manner. It's not bad, but you can tell the job has been done without measuring the length. The length of pull is 12-5/8' -- perfect for a smaller-framed person or for obtaining proper eye-relief through the scope while wearing heavy winter clothing. In general, the wood is in very good condition save a few scratches on the end of the buttstock and some finish wear around the magazine, obviously from carrying over an arm. The metal is in excellent condition from end to end with no visible marks. A great old classic rifle ready to head back to the field.
